Who pays the M-Pesa transaction fees?+
Players pay the game price shown on the table through an M-Pesa STK push. Any M-Pesa charges are shown on the confirmation prompt before they enter their PIN. Your earnings in the dashboard are what you actually receive after the Pooltex commission.
How fast do I get paid?+
Each paid game is credited to your Pooltex wallet as soon as M-Pesa confirms it. You can withdraw to your M-Pesa number from the web panel or the app at any time.
What happens if the network goes down?+
Players need mobile network to pay with M-Pesa, so new games can't be paid while the network is down. The table controller reconnects automatically and any game it has already confirmed is never lost.
Is there an offline or cash fallback?+
You decide. The table can stay locked until network returns, or you can enable a manual unlock for trusted venue staff — those games are logged separately so you can still see them.
Do I need a licence to run Pooltex tables?+
Pooltex doesn't replace any county business permit or licence your venue already needs for pool tables. Check with your county — we're happy to point you in the right direction.
Will it work on my existing table?+
The retrofit kit fits most coin-operated tables. Send us your table details through the form below and we'll confirm before installation.
How does the split with the venue work?+
You set the venue's share per table in your dashboard. Every game is split automatically, and both sides can see the same numbers.
